1. Who owns the website once the website design is completed?

Once the website is designed to completion and to your satisfaction, then it is hosted at your registered domain name. Also a copy of the complete website design is provided to you on a CD. This copy is for your retention and should you wish to use another web design or web hosting company - you are completely at liberty to take this copy to them for them to use. Also this website design CD helps to show your website to clients on your computer if you do not have access to internet.

2. Will my website be picked up by search engines?

We design websites so that they are search engine friendly and they get picked up easily by major search engines. We do not guarantee being indexed by all the search engines on the internet. Google assures that any new website will be visited within 90 days of being informed of its online presence on the internet.

3. What if I don’t like my website design?

In such a rare case, then as per designing terms and conditions applicable and signed by you, your maximum risk is the loss of the advance amount paid to us. This is very rare because we involve the client in the designing process. We create a folder specifically for the new client in his name at www.seeyoursitegoa.com so that he can access his/her UNDER CONSTRUCTION Website Design under progress. This way the client, from any where in the world can monitor what the design team is doing on his incomplete website. By seeing how his/her under construction website will finally look when completed and online, the client is in a position to effect and request changes to be made to the design to his taste and specifications.

4. How long will it take for my website to be designed?

Goa Website Designers deliver completed and online website projects within 15 working days excluding the Sunday holiday and other Public or Government holidays. The timescale of a website design assignment is often decided by the client. If you have an urgent deadline in mind and want your website to be completed faster, we will endeavor to do it for you. The most common delay in the creation and completion of a new website is waiting for content (text/images) to be sent to us by the client.

5. Will we need to have a meeting in connection with the website design?

Yes. One initial meeting is definitely required. To see your business and understand its website requirements. Also we do encourage a first meeting where we provide basic website consultation absolutely free. At this meeting the client can understand how our website designing agency can help him and his business to grow. Also at this meeting or the next one, the client can decide to give the Job Order / Advance Cheque Payment to start the website designing work immediately.

6. Once my website is designed and hosted online on the internet, what after sales service do you provide?

The need for after sales service is barely minimum. In the event of your basic contact information changing like change of business address, change of telephone numbers etc, then we do the necessary change on receiving an email from you requesting to do the same. Please note no changes are done verbally or on the phone. An email is a must. Such minor changes do not attract any charges. If the client desires to add more pages to his/her current website then charges does apply depending on the quantum of work to be done. We fully support any website we design and are always available should you encounter any problems or require any enhancements.

7. In what format should I supply words and photographs about my business for my new website?

It is helpful to us if you are able to provide text and photographs in electronic form - for example, the files output by a digital camera and the words in MS word or similar format. Also helpful are brochures, visiting cards, pamphlets, news articles, testimonials, Advertisement material, company profile, year books, marketing material, news releases, printed photographs etc.

8. Do I need a database on my website?

This will depend upon the amount of information you wish to be displayed on your website. If you have many products/services large amount of textual information, then it may be beneficial to have a database included into your website design. We will discuss this in detail with you and if a database is advised we will explain in detail exactly how this will work. We can adapt your website design to suit your specific requirements.

9. Will everyone see my web site the same?

Your website guests will see some things in a different way depending on their browser, screen resolution setting and their individual computer settings and toolbars. We design web sites with that in mind and preview them in several browser types and resolution settings before publishing. Obviously as technology develops then eventually all websites may need reevaluation and redesigning.

10. Do I have to keep my website with you forever, or can I move it to another supplier to host it if I wish?

You may shift your website to a different web hosting service at any occasion. Once your website design has been concluded, we make available you a copy of the website on CD. This copy of your website is for your retention.

11. What is a domain name?

A domain name is a precise web site address that you select and register with any one of the official registrars of domain names in India ending in .com, .edu, and .gov. Typically, the www.yourwebsitename.com format is used. Other extensions are used for different type’s organizations: .org, for organizations .edu for educational, .gov for government, .info for general information & .biz for business are a few of the more common ones. It is easy to register a URL or domain name but often many names are already in use and you may not be able to get your first choice for your business or personal use. 12. Do you offer any type of discounts?

Yes, we offer discounts only for Non – Commercial Organizations based only in Goa, Genuine Charitable Institutions doing charity in Goa, Non Profit organizations registered and functioning in Goa and all religious bodies and spiritual organizations of all religions of Goa.

13. Web Site Content – What to write about my business?

Website Content would depend on the goals of your web site. If you run a business website you would include as much information about your products or services that your customers would need to purchase or engage services from you. In a Website, where you have a few paragraphs to speak in detail about your business, in which to tell your story, every single word counts. The skills of paraphrasing and précis-writing are very important.  We believe that the marketing impact and information packed copy should drive home the point immediately. We also undertake rewriting and editing of ready content, or effective changes required in existing Websites. Exhaustive and complete website content development is done by us if the client is too busy or has difficulty in managing content for his/her website.

14. Do I need to buy Domain Name and Hosting with us only?

Not Compulsorily. You can buy the domain name or server space from whomsoever you wish to buy from. We can do your website designing and development and get your website hosted online wherever you wish to.
We purchase your domain name and server space on your behalf from our internet service providers and all details are forwarded when they are available. It generally takes 48 hours from the purchase of the domain name for it to get registered and for the hosting web space to be available for use.

15. Do you sell stand alone server web space for hosting our designed websites?

NO. We are Designing & Development Company based in Goa. We are interested in getting your new website designed according to your needs or we are willing to redesign your existing website to present international standards

16. Do you provide complete website designing and hosting solutions?

YES. We provide complete website solutions. It is best to take our complete website packages giving end to end web solutions under one roof. Our complete website packages includes registering of domain name, providing server space, creating one email id, designing and development of complete website with as many Web Pages you need, finally uploading and hosting your website online on the internet. All this is done from our main head office located at Margao in Salcete district of South Goa.

17. What are the yearly recurring charges for keeping my new website online?

Yearly recurring charges are only Rs. 500/- towards renewal of registration of domain name and only Rs. 2000/- for 50 MB of server space for storing your WebPages online. Charges can vary from time to time, so please check for latest prices by contacting us at our Margao office in South Goa.

18. Do we have to pay designing charges for our new website every year?

NO. Website designing charges are one time only. We design and develop your website for hosting online on the internet. We charge you only once for the website designing.
